It’s official. You have 55,000 new diagnosis codes to learn and implement over the next 5 years. After 30 years, we’re finally putting ICD-9 out to pasture.

Providers must code diagnoses with ICD-10 by Oct. 1, 2013, says a new final rule from the feds. Get the HHS fact sheet here.
